Ethnography and Antropology

Ethnography and Anthropology is a collection that gives continuity to the series Publications of Cultural Anthropology of the UAB, created in 1998 by the anthropologist Teresa San Román, with more than twenty volumes published.

The new collection is published in open access electronic format and places special emphasis on ethnography. The publication of ethnographic monographs takes us into diverse societies and realities, allows us to understand the accelerated socio-cultural dynamics of our world, and contributes to rethinking current global challenges from the perspective of anthropological theory.

This is a collection of the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) published by the UAB Publications Service. The collection has an editorial board and an advisory board, which guarantee the rigour in the selection process and the quality of the published works.
